You should only ever gamble for entertainment, and only if you are eighteen or over. That age restriction appears throughout this site, including on the front page. Nobody's age is verified here and no gambling takes place on these pages. Any age check happens at the destination you choose to visit.
Habits
- Decide the amount before you start. A figure chosen calmly beforehand is far easier to respect than one settled mid-session, when a win or a loss is pulling at your judgement.
- Treat that amount as already spent. If you think of it as the price of an evening's entertainment, a loss feels like the cost you expected rather than money you need to win back.
- Never chase a loss. Raising stakes to recover what is gone tends to multiply the damage, because the odds do not improve just because you are behind.
- Keep gambling out of borrowed money. Credit and loans turn a passing loss into a debt that outlasts the session and adds interest on top.
- Take regular breaks. Stepping away interrupts the momentum of play and gives you a moment to check whether you are still enjoying it.
- Involve someone else early. When gambling stops feeling like entertainment, telling a person you trust makes the problem easier to face before it grows.
Help
Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion belong to an account you hold with an operator, and you arrange them there. This site has no account, no form and no server-side application. Nothing published here can switch such a control on, check it or enforce it. No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages, so nothing you see here is targeted at you because of how you have behaved.
Every page of this site, including this one, carries links to six independent gambling-help organisations: BeGambleAware, Gamble Aware, Gambling Therapy, G GamCare Gambling Support: Starts Here, GAM STOP and NCPG. These are the only non-commercial outbound links on the site. Unlike the operator links, they carry no sponsored marking. They are set to nofollow and open in a separate tab on each organisation's own website. This site receives nothing when you follow them. If you want to cut back or stop, you can use these links to reach an independent source of help.
